Here come fully self-sustainable green dwellings
Green buildings are slowly becoming the norm, yet advanced sustainable passive houses are only just making their way onto the mass market. One Ukrainian company is out to change this, however, by selling “passive” houses that are resistant to the most severe environmental stress.
Abodes like PassivDom allow you to live in houses that consume no energy for heating and cooling, while putting no pressure on nature. The builders of passive houses adhere to the strictest sustainability standards while seeking to deliver superb experiences with close to zero carbon emissions. The outcome is a drastic reduction in heating and cooling expenses, along with perfect air quality and improved health for residents.

PassivDom dwellings are billed as autonomous self-sustainable units. The company behind them says they are 20 times more energy-efficient than regular ones thanks to super insulation and six-pane windows. This lets residents save as much as $3,600 in annual energy costs. A standard house derives all the necessary energy from the sun, while a more advanced version of it can even produce water from nearby humidity.
The house comes in two versions: moduleOne and moduleTwo, which is twice the size. They have four modifications from a simple guest house to Dream House and even a Zombie Apocalypse resistant one. The budget version comes at $90,000, while the most expensive one costs $359,000.

The more expansive modifications include luxury wood designs and remote control of the whole building, while the Zombie Apocalypse modification has extra features like vandal protection, anti-burglar doors, and tempered glass windows. All modifications come with smart-kitchen appliances and basic furniture needed for everyday living.
Among other worthwhile features is protection from 99,9% of viruses and bacteria built into the water and sewage system as well as 10-16 kWh of energy storage capacity to help the house remain self-sufficient even on cloudy days. A variety of high-tech appliances are also included.
The house can be mounted on any flat surface in the world and the company claims to refund the money “in the case your house is destroyed by aliens or zombies.”
